Fluorite (gemmy ''phantom'' crystals)

The celebrated Okorusu Mine in Namibia is one of the premier Fluorite localities in the world. This prolific mine has produced a large number of fine quality specimen over the years, often showing multiple colors within the same crystals. I have literally seen Fluorite specimens in every color of the rainbow (that included black and colorless) from Okorusu. This piece is fine quality example featuring several sharp, well-formed, VERY gemmy cubes measuring up to 1.5 cm edge, with thin "phantom" zoning can be seen when the crystals are backlit. Under halogen lighting, the crystals are a purplish hue with greenish and pink shades in the "phantom" lines, but when you take the piece in the sun (represented in the photos), the color becomes a strong blue tone, with richer blue and purple shades. Nearly all of the crystals are undamaged. A really attractive and distinctive Fluorite specimen that would make a fine addition to any collection.
