Fluorite (GEMMY cubes) with Calcite on Chalcopyrite (ex Dr. Stephen Smale Collection)

A rare combination from the Yaogangxian Mine. This showy and aesthetic small cabinet hosts a handful of razor-sharp, lustrous, VERY gemmy cubes of nearly colorless Fluorite measuring up to 1.8 cm on edge which are associated with notably curved compressed crystal groups of white Calcite sitting atop sharp, lustrous, brass colored crystals of Chalcopyrite. There are a couple tiny nicks on the Fluorites, so it's not 100% pristine, but it's still really showy and this association of Fluorite on Chalcopyrite is difficult to find in my experience.
