A classic specimen of the well-known Xianghualing Fluorites featuring a group of very sharp, HIGHLY lustrous, gemmy, large, green cubes measuring up to 3.1 cm on edge sitting on matrix. Many of the crystals are actually WATER CLEAR in areas which is only amplified by the fine "wet" luster. When you look a little deeper into the Fluorites, you can see that they have an almost "wispy" or "silky" interior. Most of the central crystals are undamaged, but the piece is contacted on the back / periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. Originally priced in our inventory at $800. His accomplishments include being awarded the Fields Medal in 1966 along with being the awarded the Wolf Prize in mathematics in 2007.
