Item Description

A wonderful miniature sized display specimen of these distinctive Fluorites from the Jaimina Mine in Spain. The piece features several very gemmy, purple color crystals of Fluorite measuring 1.8 cm on edge sitting on matrix. The central crystals are in very good condition, with no real damage that I can see, though the piece is rough around the periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. The habit of the Fluorite crystals is predominantly cubic, but you can clearly see distinctive classic tetrahexahedral raised modifications for a great touch. A very worthwhile and attractive specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district.
Ex Paul Lowe Collection.
