Fluorite (GEMMY crystals) with Sphalerite

One of the most prolific localities in all of Mexico is the prodigious Naica Mine. This amazing mine is not only home to the most exemplary Gypsum crystals ever discovered (the famous "Cave of Swords") but it has produced superb examples of many other mineral species, including some truly iconic Fluorites. Here we have a wonderful small cabinet sized specimen featuring groups of fine quality, sharp, VERY gemmy crystals of pale green (virtually colorless) Fluorite which are associated with black Sphalerite and a tiny bit of Pyrite. The Fluorite crystals show a combination of octahedral, dodecahedron and cube faces, and you can see dozens of modifying faces all over. Very good quality, no major damage to the main Fluorite group, and although individual crystals are difficult to discern, I found one that measures 1.3 cm. This one was difficult to video, but it's very attractive in person and would make a fine addition to any Fluorite suite or a collection of minerals from Naica.
