The Yaogangxian Mine is one of the most prolific specimen producing localities in China. For decades it has been a source of a large number of amazing and fine quality display specimens, including some of the most recognized Fluorites from any mine in the entire country. This piece is a fantastic and showy small cabinet display specimen loaded with beautiful, fine quality, razor-sharp, GEMMY, bluish-purple colored cubes of Fluorite measuring up to 7 mm, sitting on prismatic, hexagonal white Quartz crystal matrix. You can see slight "phantom" zoning lines on the edges of the Fluorites if you look closely. Most of the Fluorites are completely pristine, and they notably glassy and the color is very eye-catching. Very little damage to the Quartz crystals as well. A showy and aesthetic piece of this iconic and soon to be classic material from this renowned locality.
