Item Description

This is a great display specimen of the famous Fluorites from the Moscona Mine in Spain. This small cabinet piece features dozens of rather lustrous, sharp, well-formed, very gemmy soft golden colored of cubic crystals associated with micro inclusions of spherical Marcasite, along with a few curved "saddle"-shaped rhombs of white Dolomite on the reverse side. The largest Fluorite crystal measures 7 mm on edge. The specimen is in great shape overall, and it displays beautifully as you can see. Only a tiny amount of roughness can be seen in a few spots. The Fluorite crystals are so gemmy and they were difficult to photograph, and honestly the piece looks better in person. A very worthwhile and attractive Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district.
