Item Description

This is a classic cabinet specimen of the famous Moscona Fluorite featuring dozens of rather lustrous, sharp, well-formed, very gemmy soft golden colored of cubic crystals associated with pale blue-grey Baryte and cream colored rhombic Dolomite on matrix. The largest Fluorite crystal measures 7 mm on edge. The specimen is in great shape overall, and it displays beautifully as you can see. Only a tiny amount of roughness can be seen in a few spots. The Fluorite crystals are so gemmy and they were difficult to photograph, and honestly the piece looks better in person. A very worthwhile and attractive Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district.
