Fluorite (gemmy color-change crystals)

The famed Okorusu Mine is one of the premier Fluorite localities in the world. This famous Namibian locale has produced a large number of fine quality specimen over the years, often showing multiple colors within the same crystals. I have literally seen Fluorite specimens in every color of the rainbow (that included black and colorless) from Okorusu. This piece is fine quality miniature featuring a cluster of sharp, well-formed, VERY gemmy cubes measuring up to 1.1 cm edge, showing a predominantly blue shade, and thin "phantom" zoning can be seen when the crystals are backlit. When you take the piece in the sun, the blue color intensifies, but you can also see a color-change in warmer indoor lighting, as the crystals show more of a silvery-lavender hue. Nearly all of the crystals are undamaged and the piece is crystallized all over, so you can display it from different angles. A really attractive and distinctive Fluorite specimen that would make a fine addition to any collection.
