The Xianghuapu Mine is one of the most well-known Fluorite mines in China. As a matter of fact, it's not just one of the top Chinese Fluorite localities, but one of the best in the world in terms of quality and quantity of fine pieces that have been found. Since the late 1990s - early 2000s, this locality has been synonymous with amazing gemmy green Fluorite crystals. This piece features excellent, impressive, WATER CLEAR, beautiful glowing green color crystals of Fluorite with sharp, smooth, highly lustrous faces on matrix. The largest Fluorite measures 2.5 cm on edge, The habit is predominantly cubic, but you can see thin dodecahedral modifications along the edges. On the front / display side, the majority of the piece is in good shape, but obviously the periphery is contacted where it was removed from the pocket wall. It's incredibly difficult to show in the photos, but the piece is completely transparent, and you can clearly look right through it to see you hand on the other side. If you're a fan of Fluorites or Chinese minerals, this is something that we don't see much on the market anymore, and would make a fine addition, especially for a bargain value.
