Item Description
This locality is well-known for its excellent Aquamarine crystals, but it has also produced some iconic Fluorites over the last 25+ years. This piece is a wonderful large miniature / small cabinet featuring GEM quality, rich pink colored Fluorite crystals with minor associated Muscovite free of matrix. The crystals are cuboctahedral in habit and have a gentle textured growth on the faces. When backlit, you can see that the Fluorites are nearly 100% WATER CLEAR. Good condition on the top / display side, but it's not complete on the base where it was removed from the pocket wall. Fluorite is one of the most popular species with collectors, but pink and red are certainly the two most desirable colors for the species. Hard to photograph, but very attractive in person.
