Item Description

Chumar Bakhoor is one of the classic pegmatite deposits in Pakistan, and is well known for producing some incredibly attractive Aquamarine crystals and superb crystallized Fluorites. This attractive thumbnail sized specimen features a sharp, well-formed, cuboctahedron of wonderful pink colored Fluorite that is virtually WATER CLEAR free of matrix. A few blades of silvery-golden colored Muscovite flaring out of the top of the Fluorite make for a great highlight. The Fluorite is in good condition on the top / display side, but it's not complete on the base where it was separated from the pocket. Although Fluorite is known from thousands of localities and is found in every color of the rainbow, pink crystals are among the hardest to find worldwide, especially GEM QUALITY examples. Not terribly easy to photograph, but attractive in person.
