Item Description

The famous and prolific Huanggang Mine has given collectors a wide array of Fluorite specimens over a fairly brief period of time. We've seen the color of Fluorite range from green to pink to purple and even colorless! These colorless "ice" crystals from this locality are reminiscent to the finest pieces from places like Dal'negorsk, Russia and Naica, Mexico. This piece features a pair very sharp, VERY gemmy, notably sharp, well-formed, colorless crystals of Fluorite which show a beautiful combination of octahedral, dodecahedral and cubic faces. The Fluorites are elegantly sitting atop crystallized, brilliant, metallic, silvery-white Arsenopyrite matrix. One rarely sees such fine quality examples of GEM QUALITY Fluorites like this! The largest Fluorite measures 3.8 cm and both crystals on the piece are pristine. It's a showy specimen, but hard to photograph, and really looks better in person.. Great quality, aesthetics, and form make this a desirable and worthwhile display-worth small cabinet of this beautiful material from this contemporary locality. Priced at $4,500 in the inventory.
