Item Description
The Xianghuapu Mine is one of the most famous Fluorite producers in China as has become renowned for its amazing gemmy green crystals. This piece features predominantly cubic Fluorites, which are notably GEM QUALITY with sharp, smooth faces. The largest Fluorite measures 3.3 cm on edge, but if you look closely you can see that these cubes have small dodecahedral modifications on the edges. When the piece is backlit, you can see the WATER CLEAR transparency of the crystals! For the most part, the majority of the crystals are in superb shape, the only real damage is around the periphery where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. A few tiny jewel-like colorless Calcite crystals are present for a nice touch. If you're a fan of Fluorites or Chinese minerals, this is something that we don't see much on the market anymore, and would make a fine addition to your collection.
