Fluorite (GEM crystals) with Calcite

A big impressive showy cabinet specimen from the prestigious Xianghualing Mine featuring a group of GEM QUALITY, light green color, sharp, well-formed, glassy, cubic crystals Fluorite - with the largest composite group measuring up to 2.7 cm on edge - associated with gemmy white/colorless compressed trigonal crystals of Calcite. The Fluorites show small dodecahedral modifications on the edges. When backlit, you can see the Fluorites are actually colorless on the exterior edges, as the green color is more concentrated towards the center. I honestly can't see any damage of note on any of the major crystals, though there are some tiny imperfections, but the periphery is contacted where it was removed from the pocket wall, along with some saw marks on the back/base. If you collect Fluorites or minerals of China, don't miss out on this attractive hefty piece from this prodigious specimen producing locality. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
