Fluorite (GEM crystals) with Aquamarine on Muscovite

Item Description

A great quality, older Fluorite specimen from the famous pegmatite near Nagar. The piece was mined in the mid 1990's, and is one of the better pieces of this material that I've offered in the auctions. GEM quality, soft pink color modified cuboctahedral Fluorite crystals with well-defined faces and a graceful surface patterning sit aesthetically upon bladed golden Muscovite matrix. A few small pale blue prisms of Aquamarine can be seen on the piece as well. The largest Fluorite measures 2.5 cm, and they are certainly gemmy enough to cut good-sized clean gemstones. Very little damage all the way around as far as I can see with the naked eye, save the periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. I don't have to tell you how the value of Nagar Fluorites has risen over the years, and this is great cabinet sized display specimen of this material from this classic Pakistani locality.
