Fluorite (GEM crystals) on Muscovite

Item Description

A wonderful showy older Fluorite specimen from the famous pegmatite at Chumar Bakhoor. A GEM quality, good-sized, baby pink color crystal of Fluorite crystal measuring 1.5 cm sitting atop bladed silvery Muscovite matrix. The main Fluorite crystal is highly modified showing predominantly cubic and dodecahedral faces, but there are dozens of tiny "stepped" faces all over. It's actually gemmy enough to cut a clean gemstone. There is a second smaller Fluorite on the piece, which unfortunately is contacted, but it doesn't take away from the overall quality and displayability of the piece. I don't have to tell you how the value of Nagar Fluorites has risen over the years, and this is very good representative Fluorite specimen of this material from this classic Pakistani locality.
