The world-famous Elmwood Mine truly produced only a handful of displayable species, but these iconic specimens remain as some of the most recognizable minerals in the world. There are many beautiful Fluorites from this mine on the market, but I say that one of the more unusual and desirable Fluorite styles from Elmwood are the etched corners, that create almost "scepter" like growths. This piece is a nice example of said material, and although it does have a bit of edge-wear, it is complete all-around with the classic dual color (lilac and yellow) appearance along with the amazing gemminess - nearly water clear - that makes these pieces so desirable. If you collect Fluorites, and you've always wanted a little specimen of this material, look no further.
