Item Description

These are some of the most distinctive Fluorites from any Spanish locality. This small cabinet features small yet vivid blue-green octahedral Fluorite crystals from the Berta Quarry. The largest crystal measures about 3 mm, but they are nearly all water clear. This material is not your typical Spanish Fluorite as the color and habit are not what one would expect since so many Spanish Fluorites (mostly from Asturias) are blue or purple and typically cubic in habit. Yes, these crystals are not incredibly large, but the color is fairly strong. When you think about Fluorite, one does not often see crystals this size with such a strong hue. Good quality overall, with only a few nicks here and there, but hard to find on the market now.
