Fluorite (GEM bi-color crystals) with Dolomite

A gorgeous and fine small cabinet sized specimen from the famed Shangbao Mine featuring a group of WATER CLEAR, lustrous, cubic crystals of Fluorite with soft green and purple hues measuring up to 2.3 cm on edge., associated with pale pinkish-white colored, pearly rhombic Dolomite. While the Fluorites are predominantly cubic in habit, I can see small modifying octahedral and dodecahedral faces on the edges. The front facing Fluorite crystals are SO GEMMY that you can see straight through them to the underlying Dolomite. The piece is crystallized on all sides, and is so close to being a complete "floater", but I can see one tiny point of attachment on the back. Great quality older material dating back to the early 2000s. A fantastic eye-catching specimen to add to any Fluorite collection or suite of Chinese minerals.
