Item Description

An aesthetic and dramatic large mounded combination plate from the famous Rogerley Mine. Pairs of gemmy, emerald-green interpenetrating fluorite twins and corroded, matte-finish galena octahedrons are exceptionally scattered on the hummocky surface covered with sparkly drusy quartz points. The fluorites reach 1.0 cm on edge and the galena octos 1.2 long. The interior of this fine piece is nearly pristine. The fluorites are all pristine. You barely notice the two very gently bruised galena octahedron corners and one cleaved crystal on the upper left. Choice older combination material from the 1999 to early 2000s finds. The back has been sawed to enhance the fine display quality. Stunning purple-white fluorescence. Fairly valued at $1200-1500.
