Item Description

Gemmy, transparent to translucent, pretty green, fluorite crystals to 1.2 cm and melted-look galena octahedrons are richly and aesthetically scattered on the undulating surface of this impressive large quartz plate from recent finds at the famous old Rogerley Mine. Essentially pristine, with only one spot of trivial bruising, and expertly prepared, the base has been sawed to enhance the multiple, fine display possibilities. Note the so-called day-glow purple fluorescence when the piece is placed in normal daylight. It explodes with purple under UV light! 4.0 pounds or 1.8 kilos. Valued at $1250 for size and combination quality.
