Fluorite (fluorescent) with Celestine

Item Description

This is a classic Clay Center specimen with the fluorite crystals exhibiting a rich cognac color and outstanding luster and translucence. The two intergrown fluorite crystals, to 3.8 cm across, are cubes which show a clear striking color zoning. For added flavor there are a few lustrous and colorless celestine blades embedded in one cube. A superb example for the size. This is also highly fluorescent. Valued $300-400.
