Item Description

A sculptural mounded cluster of densely intergrown lustrous, translucent, mint-green fluorite octahedrons from a very obcure claim. The octos are preferentially capped by an overgrowth of drusy quartz. Purple fluorescence. VERY RARE and showy fluorite from this British Columbia locale. Looks like fluorite from the famous Rock Candy Mine, but it's not. Self-collected by Mark Mauthner in 2002 and from the Art Soregaroli Collection.
