Item Description
A 5.0 cm glassy terminated quartz crystal is dramatically overgrown by a dense cluster of complex pretty sea-green fluorite crystals. The glassy, highly lustrous, translucent fluorites have striking nubby faces. Pasto Bueno is famed for world-class rhodochrosite specimens and excellent fluorites, such as this. Green fluorite with quartz is a typical combination and this is a striking fine example. Note that the fluorite changes color depending on different lighting, pastel green in general lights. Purple fluorescence. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired in 2004.
