Item Description

Glassy, water-clear, rich golden-amber, fluorite cubes to 1.1 cm comprise this showy and excellent old-time specimen from the historic Freiberg District of Saxony. Some of the cubes have nifty purple edge phantoms and the preferential dusting of drusy quartz adds character. The piece is in super shape, with only a trivial bit of periphery wear. Purple fluorescence under LW UV light and yellow-white under SW UV light! Classic material from a musuem collection.
