Item Description

A classic, older and showy large fluorite plate from this famous Namibian locale. Intergrown cubes to about 1.7 cm form a sculptural 3-dimensional piece. The lustrous, translucent, bi-colored cubes have lightly frosted faces. Colors on these cute cubes from range from teal-blue to green and the purple edge phantoms really add character. The cubes glow under bright light, but were hard to photograph. In excellent shape, with just a bit of periphery wear. Older Okorusu material from the Bob Trimingham Collection purchased in 1975 from Walt Lidstrom at the San Francisco Show. Purple fluorescence. BETTER IN PERSON!
