Item Description

Rich emerald-green, gemmy and lustrous, fluorite cubes with very interesting modified beveled edges and satin lustre faces are richly and attractively set on the sculptural small cabinet feldspar matrix plate. The fluorites and matrix both have preferential crusts of dark purple fluorite, adding much pizzazz and contrast. The domimating large cube is 1.5 cm on edge. Purple fluorescence. A very fine example of this cubic varietal with interesting edge modifications accented with purple fluorite crusts. Ex Shields Flynn Collection.
