A dramatic and highly sculptural large fluorite and quartz combination from recent finds at this famous mine. A 4.5 cm intergrown cluster of lustrous, translucent, densely stepped-growth purple with green cores fluorite cuboctahedrons dominates this striking looking piece. A thin quartz septa separates the purple fluorite from very artistic, well-placed clusters and isolated sharp, glassy, pretty green and green octahedral crystals with purple highlights. Two "walls" of purple fluorite crystals are a super compliment. The sculptural form of the quartz is remarkable in its own right. The green octos have bright blue-white fluorescence and the purple crystals have modest purple fluoresence. A highly unusual looking and excellent fluorite and quartz combination with multiple display views.
