Item Description
Elmwood Mine fluorite and sphalerite specimens are a classic combination. This large and showy piece is highlighted by the dramatic 4.5 x 4.1 cm, bi-colored cube with scintillating, dense, stepped-growth faces. Small, gemmy, purple fluorite cubes cover the mounded rubyjack sphalerite matrix. The cube is nearly pristine, with just a bit of termination bruising. Bruising below the cube is noted and is a minimal detraction. A classic, highly representative combination. Older material from the Consie Prince Collection. Purple fluorescence to the cube and minimal fluorescence to the small cubes.
