Fluorite (fluorescent) on Quartz (Trimingham Coll.)

Item Description

A 1.7 cm, frosted, translucent, lavender fluorite cube, with nifty faint edge phantoms is beautifully set at the top of an opposing cluster of glassy quartz points on this showy and excellent combination from this famous locale and the Bob Trimingham Collection. Some of the quartz crystals are doubly terminated. Complete all-around and in good shape. The contacting and broken quartz crystals on one side are certainly only a modest detraction. A back corner of the cube has a good repair and is out-of-sight in the display view. Faint purple fluorescece. Classic, aesthetic and uncommon material in this combination.
