Item Description
The Blanchard Mine is well-known for several outstanding species, among them its rich blue or purple-blue Fluorites. For this color, the habit is almost always cubic, with the traditional silky luster and subtle color gradations. The fluorescence is blue, and the crystals reach up to 1.2 cm on edge in this very aesthetic and well-balanced cluster. From experience, I would say that this choice miniature is out of either the Sunshine #1 tunnel or the Portales Pit (which has now been collapsed and closed). Very sharp!
