Fluorite (fluorescent) on Quartz

Dramatic, lustrous and translucent, intensely stepped-growth, rich grape-purple fluorite cuboctahedrons are aethetically clustered and scattered on the large quartz crystal plate. The impressive large cluster is 9.4 cm across and the quartz iron oxide tinting adds character. The noted periphery wear to the fluorites and quartz are certainly only a modest detraction to this excellent and highly attractive combination. Purple fluorescence.
