The Yaogangxian Mine has become one of the world's premier Fluorite localities, and this elegant specimen shows exactly why. This large cabinet piece consists of very gemmy, superbly lustrous zoned purple Fluorites on a plate of lustrous, gemmy to partially white Quartz crystals. The Fluorites, the largest of which is .9 cm on edge, have excellent fluorescence. The largest of the Quartz crystals is about 4 cm. The aesthetics are remarkable and shooting clear, gemmy crystals on white matrix causes photos that do not do this justice at all. So it is better in person
