Item Description

Quintessential Erongo Fluorites, which blend different habits and different colors. The fluorescent Fluorites range from smaller cubes to larger 1.6 cm cubes that are heavily modified by the octahedron. The cores are gemmy and green, while the outer zones are deep purple. The larger modified crystals have preferential faces - some glassy and some frosted. The windows can nicely show the green cores under the right light. The Fluorites rest on a bed of 2-3 mm Muscovite crystals, all of which are on a single Feldspar crystal. Along one edge is a ring of Hyalite Opal. This is an aesthetic specimen under regular light, and it is just a killer under UV light.
