Fluorite (fluorescent) & Galena on Quartz

Item Description

A classic and showy large mounded combination from this well-known locale. Lustrous, translucent, fluorite cubes, to 1.9 cm, with frosted faces are festooned on the mounded quartz matrix. A nifty cluster of corroded galena cubes is a fine accent. The crystals are actually a fine teal-blue with only the larger crystals across the top having the classic purple shading. The bit of noted bruising and periphery wear are certainly only modest detraction to this excellent, highly representative combination example from the famous Blanchard Mine. Purple fluorescence.
