Item Description

A striking, 4.5 x 4.0 cm, translucent lemon drop-yellow, fluorite cube dominates this showy and excellent large combination from this well-known mine and the Bob Trimingham Collection. The included and embedded tiny chalcopyrites really add pizzazz to the fluorites. The fluorite matrix is strikingly and richly covered with diverging sprays of sparkly, translucent, tan, calcite scalenohedrons, to about 2.6 cm. Periphery wear on one edge is certainly only a minimal detraction to this large, sculptural, highly representative combination. Faint purple fluorite fluorescence. Collected in May, 1987, according to Bob's label.
