Item Description
A fine example of Fluorite from the Oedsbach District in the Black Forest of Germany, this cabinet-sized specimen is composed of massive, sky blue Fluorite that transitions into well-crystalized cubes on the surface. The crystals are basically gemmy, with a good luster that is partially etched in places. The largest crystal is 2.3 cm on edge, and the entire piece has excellent fluorescence. Most likely from the long-abandoned Hesselbach Mine, this was originally in the private collection of Anton Berger, and was #2543 in Kay's collection.
