Item Description

Intergrown, large, elongated, blocky fluorite cubes form an impressive large specimen from this well-known Bancroft area locale. The very glassy transparent crystals are mostly colorless with subtle hints of green noted in the interior. Crystal faces are frosted with nifty stepped-growth features. The striking large crystal is 8.7 cm long. Rich purple fluorescence. The piece displays very well without aid. Valued by the former dealer at $650. Classic and excellent large material. Essentially pristine, with only very modest periphery wear expected on a large and old specimen from this region.
