Item Description

Lustrous, translucent, bi-colored fluorite cubes flank a large cube with dramatic partial color-zoning in the center of this very fine fluorite specimen from the 2008 finds at this claim. Colors range from light purple to brown to colorless to a very light sea-green. The large central cube with the color-zoning is 5.0 x 2.4 cm. A metallic goethite cluster on the top adds character. In great shape, overall. The basal periphery wear in the front is certainly a modest detraction. Ex. Adam Sotomayor Collection, who collected it. There were very few fluorite clusters of this quality and richness recovered. Bright to modest purple fluorescence.
