Item Description

An impressive, large octahedron, 9.5 cm across, with attendent smaller octos, has striking stepped-growth faces giving it the distinct appearance of a large flat-topped Mayan pyramid. The highly translucent piece has rich apple-green color, that really GLOWS when backlit (difficult to capture with the camera). Crystal faces are lightly frosted, which gives the piece a beautiful shimmer in bright light. Essentially pristine. Pieces of this color, quality and size are very uncommon from this locality. It displays well without aid. Super purple fluorescence.
