Charming, and vintage, plate of GEMMY Weardale Fluorites on matrix. All the crystals have superb luster, and all are equally gemmy. There is one excellent pair of interpenetrating twins, the largest of which is .95 cm on edge. These light purple crystals are so gemmy, in fact, that the matrix below and light dispersion in the crystals disguise how good they a really are. Water-clear, beautiful, and highly fluorescent, it's a very fine piece from a famous locality, probably very old too.
