Item Description
Vivid, bright-green color, as well as a rich, purple-blue fluorescence, are two hallmarks of the popular Fluorites from Riemvasmaak. Also, Fluorites from this well-known locality are predominantly octahedral, with the largest crystal here being a substantial 4.5 cm on edge. The color, fluorescence, and densely-intergrown nature of the crystals on this large plate well-represent this famous locality. The large crystal is complete but seems to have a slight growth contact at one tip, otherwise symmetric. This is a large specimen with bright, open color, and remarkably complete all around - a floater! Valued $4000-5000, we will add, as it is not apparent how good and big this is from a video.
