Fluorites are known from thousands of localities around the world, but around 2005, there was a new find of some beautiful colored material from Afghanistan. The stones exhibit a beautiful teal color with rich saturation. The color almost reminds me of certain blue Fluorites from Hardin County, Illinois. This "trillion brilliant" cut stone is a fantastic example of this material. The stone is very very slightly included, and is very good quality for what it is. This is the only piece I have to offer of these attractive gems, so do not miss out on this one.
