Fluorite (excellent color)

In recent years, the Riemvasmaak Fluorites have found their way into the top tier of worldwide contemporary Fluorites. The iconic, desirable green color is certainly eye-catching and when you combine it with the larger sized, textbook octahedral form and their fine gemminess, you get some great display specimens. This beautiful miniature sized specimen features a predominant, very sharp, textbook, gemmy, strong green color octahedral crystal measuring 3.6 cm across, sitting on additional green and purple Fluorite matrix. On the display side, I really don't see any damage of note to the main crystal, and it actually has several beautiful termination points flaring out of the front for a dramatic effect. It's showy, fine quality and has excellent color. You don't see many Fluorites with such saturation of color from anywhere. We had this piece priced at $1,800 in the inventory.
