Fluorite (ex Willard Wulff Collection)

Item Description

This specimen comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936. The piece comes mounted in a "Perky" box with a hand-written label on the base that states it was acquired in 1982. This is a nice display piece featuring sharp, gemmy, well-formed, light blue color cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 4 mm on Quartz on matrix. It's an attractive, great old time specimen from this noteworthy collection.
