Item Description

The Xianghuapu Mine is one of the most well-known Fluorite producing localities, not only in China, but the world. Since the late 1990s - early 2000s, it has been synonymous with amazing gemmy green Fluorite crystals. This piece features, a predominant, light green color, gemmy cubic crystal of Fluorite with sharp, smooth, highly lustrous faces, plus some accessory Fluorites on a bit of matrix. The big Fluorite measures 2.2 cm on edge. The piece sits wonderfully on its own without the aid of a base or clay. No damage and very showy. From the worldwide collection of Tom Campbell. Tom is a mineralogist and mineral collect who works with us here at The Arkenstone. He has over 35 years of experience in the fields of exploration geology, mining, and applied mineralogy, and has even more years under his belt as a collector!
