Item Description
The various gneiss quarries in the Beura area in Italy have produced some very attractive and well-known Alpine mineral species. This specimen hosts a few fairly sharp, light pink color, translucent octahedra of Fluorite measuring up to 8 mm which are associated with moss green Chlorite on matrix. From the famous Alpine collection of Richard A. Kosnar. A great piece for a Fluorite collector to add to a reference suite.
