Item Description
An attractive, classic small cabinet sized specimen of sharp, translucent, color-zoned, rich grape-purple Fluorite cubes form the Esperanza Mine near Muzquiz. The largest Fluorite crystal measures 3.5 cm on edge. The piece is in good condition on the display side, but contacted on the back. There are some small groups of cream colored Calcite on top of the Fluorites. Interestingly, this Fluorite has very slight purple fluorescence. The rich purple color lies only on the exterior, and it's virtually colorless in the center of the specimen. From the collection of Lee B. Burnett of Morrison, Colorado (#LB)
