Item Description

This specimen was labeled as coming from "Lacollada, near Berbes, Spain", most likely this refers to the La Collada mining area, but based upon the appearance and association of the specimen, but I don't think it is from Berbes. With that said, it's a nice thumbnail display specimen featuring a few sharp, well-formed, gemmy, rich yellow color cubic crystals of Fluorite measuring up to 1.2 cm on edge with no matrix. There is a bit of edge wear, so it's not damage free, but still fairly showy. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#12557). Kay was a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics. She nearly lived 100 years from April 1920 - March 2020.
